ABOUT JULIAN PARKINSON
A highly experienced freelance videographer/DP based in Halifax, NS, Canada.
I’ve been playing around with video cameras since the late 80’s when I used to shoot snowboarding and winter action sports. These days I specialize in corporate and celebrity interviews, branded content and commercials mainly for out of province production companies who have a project on the east coast of Canada. I’m available for assignments in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Cape Breton, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
I take great pride in my work, own all my own gear & I work with a full time camera/production assistant to make sure our projects run smoothly.
Originally from Manchester, England, I relocated to Canada in 2011 with my family where we enjoy a great healthy outdoor lifestyle. I have citizenship in both Canada and the UK. If I’m not out filming you can find me chopping wood, snowmobiling or blazing around the trails on our Kawasaki side-by-side.
